We were blessed with perfect weather on our "birthday shoot" which was organised by the birthday girl herself. She and her female compatriots and a crew of young & not not young men had a fun filled day. With crack & crap shooting, in equal measures - all went home very happy. The environment is spectacular and being only 30 minutes from downtown Auckland makes it very accessible. Undeniably a magnificent relaxed yet exciting environment to spend quality time with our clients and partners. Regarding the shooting, Dale provided a safe and proffessional environment. The safety briefing was clear and to the point. His instructive commentry throughout the session saw amazing improvement and results. June 2013Carodale Sporting Clays is a truly unique, exciting and safe shooting experience located only 25 minutes north of downtown Auckland. I have thoroughly enjoyed shooting in their private valley on many occasions including one-on-one instruction, recreational shooting with friends & family, club tournaments, but mostly corporate client functions. Dale & Carol are highly skilled to provide experienced and first-timers excellent instruction and a fun time. The minibus rolled into Carodale Country Estate and the perfect atmosphere was set for was a fantastic "do" for everybody. We were met with great hospitality, professional coaching, excellent Clay Target Shooting and magnificent facilities. The relaxed atmosphere flowed with a whole lot of laughs and endless good times had by all throughout the day. The Ozzy fellas are still talking about it! June 2016As part of a stag doo we started our day at Carodale Clay Target Shooting. Dale and Carol were excellent to deal with. The shooting was a great way to kick the day off and a good way to get some friendly competition going. There was a rewarding prize for the top shooter and a bit of a surprise for the worst. I'd highly recommend!

June 2013"It was with some intrepidation we learnt of the venue - clay target shooting was way out of our comfort zone! What a day we had! Dale was a great teacher - he really gave us the confidence to not only try but to succeed at shooting! The walk around the property was amazing - so close to the city, but we were in a world of our own - quiet, peaceful and beautiful scenery - just what we needed. We can highly recommend this destination to anyone!

June 2016Awesome setup and excellent coaching from Dale. I've always shot right handed and been a terrible shot. Dale identified I was left eye dominant and got me to try left handed. Started hitting almost everything, a massive improvement and I'm bloody pumped! Cheers Dale, very cool setup, round the ponds and in the bush with allsorts of traps firing different targets. Awesome place!
